The Who

The what? The Who? Yes, that's right. Aha, sorry I couldn't help myself :)

It is sometimes (often) very interesting to teach music. My students make me discover singers and bands that are nice (I am not talking about the Christina Aguilera's fan... o.O )

I wanted to upload the mp3 track for this post, but Blogspirit doesn't allow me more than 5Mb (and the song is 5.4Mb! Sh*t!). So here is the video... I prefer the studio version though (no audience screaming in the background).



The band Limp Bizkit covered this song for their album "Results May Vary" and for the movie "Gothika" (which is a nice supernatural thriller by the French actor/writer/director Mathieu Kassovitz). The music video was directed by frontman Fred Durst and Gothika star Halle Berry appeared in it (You can see it there, if you wish), but the ethereal backvocals harmonies are not as strong (missing?) which is what I prefer in the original.

J'aime bcp la version de Limp Bizkit, je ne connaissais pas l'original... C'est sympa d'avoir mis la video, et les paroles aussi.

Ben oui, si je peux mettre la totale, alors c'est mieux: ça permet d'avoir un post bien long pour une fois! (Et intéressant un peu quand même, hein!)
